Want to touch my tool?

So I'm headed for Portland at the end of the month and I am loathe to leave my tools behind. Has anyone ever heard of a community shop space or short term shop rental? I'd like to be able to do a little wood working now and then but no longer have the space (my basement) to do it in. Nor can I really afford to rent a full shop out on a monthly basis. Any suggestions would be met with gracious contributions of beer on my part.
